Sometimes when a learner gets the answer they need from a help post, they delete the post and also don’t give the helper or helpers feedback. Perhaps they feel uncomfortable keeping their questions up for others to see, fair enough. But many helpers often put considerable effort into writing clear, thorough explanations, and sometimes it is helpful to refer back to those explanations when answering future questions instead of having to write a new comment from scratch. It is a disincentive against putting good effort into writing help comments when they can be deleted on a whim by the asker. It would be nice if help comments could be saved and kept accessible through the profile page regardless of what happens to the posts they were made on.
