Volunteer Hours in the Enrichment Subworld

Academic sessions in the Enrichment Subworld are important too, and the tutors hosting them should get volunteer hours too.

I think that tutors should be able to gain volunteer hours even if they teach in Enrichment because they've spent times to prepare and host the sessions. Besides, many of the topics taught in Enrichment are for academic reasons, too. For example, I'm currently hosting an econ related session and language learning session, which are very much academic related:)

I think that tutors in the Enrichment subworld should get volunteer hours because they are still taking out time in their day for free to help student. Also, my volunteer hours for other subworlds are not being tracked.

There are ALOT Of A.P classes out there so it makes sense to create an entire subworld

100% agree! I'm hosting series on APs in there, and I feel bad that I'm not getting any volunteer hours for it..

Hi Sneha, thanks for sharing this! Volunteer hours are not granted for sessions/series hosted in the subworlds of “Enrichment” and “Schoolhouse Tutors”. While still important, volunteer hours are reserved for sessions in academic subjects that are in line with Schoolhouse’s current focus.
We hope to continue to expand the academic subjects tutors can get certified in (we added R&W & several AP History subjects last December), in order to expand the opportunities for tutors to earn volunteer hours!

this would be really helpful, like if i want to start history study series, or teach other learner chinese, i will need a lot of practice and prepare, and that is academic.

I have suggested the idea to other Enrichment mods and the Product Team, and they might make it happen! I added the idea that we should have "tags" in the Enrichment Subworld. To be more specific, adding tags can allow us to categorize what is "academic" (English, APs, Music, Art, etc.) and what is "just for fun." (Study Space, Game Nights, Clubs, Events) I'll have further talks with them and see what we get!

That would be really cool, particuarly as it serves as the AP subworld!
