"Live Help" Icon
Prachi D
Whenever I go to the "live help" section through the dashboard, I always get shown as a learner even in the subworlds that I'm a tutor in. I'm not sure why this is happening, but it might lead a learner to believe that I am not qualified to help them.

Prachi D consider updating the title to something a bit more descriptive like "Learner icon shown for tutor when providing Live Help". That might make it a little clearer to those searching through open issues to find this.
I'll provide some more details and images on my experience with this same issue.
I provided Live Help in Geometry at https://schoolhouse.world/dashboard/live-help?p=98274. I'll attach images showing that in this context I'm viewed as a Learner for some reason. But at the Geometry subworld page (going away) and the Tutor page (not going away, I don't believe) I'm correctly shown as a Geometry Tutor.

FYI, that Geometry live help linked above still shows me as a Learner, though an Algebra 2 live chat (https://schoolhouse.world/w/algebra2/p/99216) where I showed as a Learner on 9/13/25 has now switched to show me as a Tutor as of 9/18/25. No change in my certifications, so seems like a partial Schoolhouse bug fix has been made, but does not appear to be complete yet.
Edit - probably just due to me viewing the subworld version of the help request at /w/algebra2 instead of the /dashboard/live-help URL. It's still wrong at https://schoolhouse.world/dashboard/live-help?p=99216

Some more info:
The subworld version of a live help request page appears not to have the issue. E.g. at
I'm correctly shown as a tutor. But at the below live-help versions of these pages, I'm shown as a learner.
There is also seemingly a difference in whether the learner sees me as a learner or a tutor. E.g. in https://schoolhouse.world/dashboard/live-help?p=100302 (assuming it doesn't get deleted), I see myself and Alexander both as learners, but the learner said she saw us both as tutors. Here's part of my view that suggests all of us are learners. I don't know if the learner went through a not-yet-deleted subworld page to initiate the help request or not and if that might explain why she saw different icons than me.
