Email Notifications

Because students and tutors don't get email notifications for messages or comments on sessions/series, they are compelled to check schoolhouse.world often and it can often take a while for one to respond to a message. It would be great if there could be email notifications for messages and session comments.

Tutors could be notified when a learner joins/withdrawn from a session/series. We already receive too many emails as promotions, a choice of
▪just the zoom links they are supposed to connect to and
▪the members attending/withdrawing in thier sessions/series
▪Followers/ Class entries would suffice.

We have email notifications for missed messages now! However, we don't yet have emails for comments on session/series discussions—do you still think that'd help?

Will a general "you have unread notifications" mail alert help? I don't use these, preferring to check site directly. But will it ease the process to send a general email than to personalise it with what notifications have arrived? (Looking at all the In Progress posts currently.)

Email notification for session request

I was thinking when a tutor claims and respond to a learner's session request, the learner should get a email notification because some learners don't always check the website often to see their response.

Julia and Anees from the team are working on it.

Michael, this is a great point. I believe @Julia from the engineering team is working on a big part of this, which is email notifications for messages.
