Co-Tutoring
planned

Recently, the product team has launched a new feature where tutors can co-host sessions. When I put a session for co-hosting, how can I get tutors who are interesting in co-tutoring with me. I want to have tutors who want to co-tutor with me have the chance to. I think there should should be a symbol on a session to check if the tutor is looking for co-tutors. It is kind of exhausting for me to check every single session and check if it is available for co-tutoring. There should be some kind of icon on the session modal to know if it is accepting co-tutoring.

I think this would be good for tutors who don’t want to tutor on their own.

Yes, Akshay! A filter would also work.

Yes, I think we can add a filter for this! We're still waiting to release co-hosting for series, but we can release this filter for sessions too.

Akshay Ravikumar: I'm thrilled that series cohosting too is PLANNED/UNDER REVIEW! I've always hoped this would be launched someday, and never made a canny post about it even if I saw that cohosting is currently open for sessions only.

Hmm...intriguing idea. Thanks for sharing, Shanmukha! One purpose of Drew's Series Scratchpad, in fact, is to find cotutors. But I get that what you're suggesting is a feature on the site itself: I can see it has the potential to supercharge tutoring experience, but I can't yet see how it'll look in practice, in features, how tutors will actually connect on the site for cotutoring.
If you publish a session and are open to cotutoring with another tutor, you could display a symbol on the session rather than stating in the description. Is that what you're suggesting?
Shanmukha P
Tarun G: Yes, Tarun! There should be a symbol when browsing session if the session accepting co-tutors.
